Child suffers life-changing injuries in North Wales crash
A man's been arrested in connection with the collision in the town of Shotton
A young child has been left with "life-changing injuries" following a suspected hit and run involving a motorbike in North Wales.
Police were called to a report of a serious collision at Central Drive in Shotton just after half past five last night.
The child was airlifted to Alder Hey hospital in Liverpool for treatment.
A man has been arrested and is being questioned by North Wales Police, who have confirmed he was detained in another police force area and is suspected of riding the motorbike involved.
In an initial appeal to the public, Chief Inspector Trystan Bevan from North Wales Police said:
“Three people have also been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
“I am urging anybody who witnessed the incident, or anybody who was travelling in the area of Central Drive at the time and might have dashcam footage, mobile phone footage or CCTV footage, to get in touch with us at the earliest opportunity.
