Sussex Police have charged a man from Birmingham with murder following the death of a man in a pub in Chichester.

Officers were first called to reports of a disturbance at The Dolphin and Anchor pub on West Street at around 11pm on Thursday (June 20th).

When responders arrived at the scene, they found a 57-year-old with serious head injuries and requiring immediate medical attention.

The man from South Yorkshire was treated by medical professionals but despite their best efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
