Yes feat. Anderson, Rabin and Wakeman reveal songs making UK tour setlist

The recently renamed Yes feat. Anderson, Rabin and Wakeman have unveiled the names of 14 Yes tracks they will perform on their upcoming UK tour.

A newly revealed poster for the 10-date March 2017 tour contains the titles of a series of prog rock anthems spanning a 20-year period.

Tracks from the seventies dominate with ‘Roundabout’, ‘I’ve Seen All Good People’, ‘Awaken’, ‘Heart of the Sunrise’, ‘The Fish (Schindleria Praematurus)’, ‘And You and I’, ‘Long Distance Runaround’ and ‘Perpetual Change’ all making the cut.

‘Owner of a Lonely Heart’, ‘Rhythm of Love’, ‘Cinema’, ‘Hold On’ and ‘Changes’ represent eighties-era Yes, while ‘Lift Me Up’ is the sole nineties track.

Select dates on the trio’s rapturously received North American tour last year featured the Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe song ‘The Meeting’ from their eponymous and only studio album.

Writing about the band on his blog back in August, Rick Wakeman said the tour was about much more than Jon, Trevor and himself.

“One thing that became abundantly clear (during rehearsals) was that Lee Pomeroy (bass) and Lou Molino III (drums) are much more than added ‘sidemen’,” Rick wrote.

“Their contributions to all that went on were immense and ARW is truly a 5-piece band of tremendous future potential. There truly can’t be a better bass player or drummer out there for ARW.”

Alongside fellow Yes legends Bill Bruford, Steve Howe, Alan White, Tony Kaye and Chris Squire’s wife Scottie (who is accepting on her late husband’s behalf), Anderson, Rabin and Wakeman will be inducted into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame in Brooklyn on 7th April.

In homage to their fellow prog-rock torchbearers and kindred spirits, Rush’s Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will be introducing Yes at the back-patting bash.
