Within Temptation and Opeth Confirmed For Bloodstock 2015
Both bands will perform on the Saturday night.
Within Temptation and Opeth are the first two bands to be announced for next year's Bloodstock Open Air festival.
Saturday night headline duty falls to Within Temptation, who previously headlined the Catton Park event in 2005.
Frontwoman Sharon den Adel enthused: “We're thrilled to play BLOODSTOCK again! We had such a great time before and can't wait to take ‘Hydra’ to the stage at Catton Park. It's a really exciting time for us right now and we're looking forward to bringing the fire!!”
Also confirmed are Sweden's Opeth, who will perform in the Saturday night special guest slot. The band achieved their highest UK chart position to date last week as their new album 'Pale Communion' hit number 14.
Frontman Mikael Akerfeldt said: “We’re happy to confirm that we’ll be back at theBLOODSTOCK festival next year! I don’t know how many times we’ve played there now, but it’s a real great place, a nice festival run by nice people. Too bad it’s like….a year or so away!?”
