Wildhearts' Ginger To Help Launch Huge Photo Exhibit

Free show in London later this month

The Wildhearts enigmatic frontman Ginger will help to launch Proud Gallery’s biggest ever exhibition in London as part of a fund raising launch party.

On 21 July the launch party for the Six Shooters exhibition will feature an auction to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust. As well as a chance to get your hands on prints of some of the most iconic music photographs of the past 20 years there will be music provided by Ginger and his Guitarmageddon project - "the loudest most OTT acoustic gig ever” – and several other bands.

The charity night will open with the official gallery launch of the Six Shooters exhibition. Between them the Six Shooters’ photographers – Roger Sargent, Mick Hutson, Andy Fallon, Paul Harries, Andy Willsher and Andy Cotterill, have shot every notable band and musician, toured with the very best and been published in almost every major publication both nationally and across the world. The collection will features artists such as Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Paul Weller, Björk, Green Day, Lily Allen, Pete Doherty, The White Stripes, U2, Chris Martin, Dave Grohl, Kasabian, Razorlight, Killers, Jay Z, Jarvis Cocker, Ian Brown, Oasis, Morrissey, REM, Eminem, Marilyn Manson, The Kooks, Libertines, The Clash, Bobby Gillespie, Blur, Kings of Leon, Metallica and Motorhead to name a mere fraction.

Entrance to the event is free however guests are invited to make donations to Teenage Cancer Trust on the night.

The opening party is on 21 July and the exhibition runs from 22 July to 12 September.
