Whitesnake announce 8-CD live boxset collating concerts from 2004 to 2015

Whitesnake have announce details of an expansive 8-CD live boxset called ‘Access All Areas: Live’ featuring concert performances from the years 2004 to 2015.
Released on Friday 25th April 2025, the ‘Access All Areas: Live’ collection leads with Whitesnake’s 2006 live album ‘Live… In The Still of the Night’, which was recorded at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on 20th October 2004.
The audio was previously available as a bonus 10-track CD on the limited special collector's edition of the ‘Live… In The Still of the Night’ DVD back in 2006.
Whitesnake’s line-up at the Hammersmith Apollo show featured band leader David Coverdale alongside guitarists Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach, drummer Tommy Aldridge and bassist Marco Mendoza, and they tore through songs including ‘Is This Love,’ ‘Here I Go Again’ and ‘Still of The Night.’
In addition to ‘Access All Areas: Live’, ‘Live… In The Still of the Night’ is also being released on vinyl for the very first time on 25th April.
CD2 and CD3 in the ‘Access All Areas: Live’ boxset features the 2006 live album ‘Live… In The Shadow of the Blues’ album, which was recorded at various dates on Whitesnake’s world tour earlier that year.
‘Made in Japan’ across CD4 and CD5 was recorded at Loud Park, Saitama Super Arena, Japan on 15th October 2011, while CD6’s ‘Made In Britain’ immortalises UK concert performances on Whitesnake’s 2011 tour.
CD7 is called ‘The World Record’ and boasts songs performed all over the world on 2011’s Forevermore Tour, and the collection concludes with ‘The Purple Tour: Live’, recorded in 2015.
In total, ‘Access All Areas: Live’ features 88 remastered songs, it’s presented in a lift-off lid box and features a 60-page book, a colour poster and a new essay based on interviews with David Coverdale.

Back in the summer of 2022, Whitesnake cancelled their final European shows and their entire North American tour with Scorpions due to Coverdale’s persistent upper respiratory infection.
The band haven’t performed live since Hellfest in June 2022, and last year guitarist Reb Beach said he doesn’t believe Coverdale will tour again.
