Whitesnake and Foreigner announce 2022 UK tour

Multi-platinum selling rock legends Whitesnake and Foreigner have announced dates for their joint 2022 UK tour, with tickets on-sale from 30th July. Support comes from special guests and 80s icons Europe.

The trio of hard rock heavyweights will be hitting the road throughout May 2022, and will perform a collection of some of the most celebrated tracks in rock. From Whitesnake’s ‘Here I Go Again,’ to Foreigner’s ‘I Wanna Know What Love Is,’ to Europe’s ‘The Final Countdown,’ the night’s sets will be full of foot-stomping and horn-raising anthems.

Beginning in Glasgow on 12th May and ending in Cardiff on 25th, the bands will also be stopping off in Newcastle (14th May), London (16th May), Manchester (18th May), Nottingham (20th May), and Birmingham (22nd May).

Whitesnake’s vocalist David Coverdale shares his excitement of the upcoming tour:

“After all the extraordinary challenges we’ve been through together over the last year and a half, I am beyond excited to be able to announce our 2022 UK dates! I pray every day we can all make this happen and once again, share unforgettable evenings together and celebrate the amazing journey we have been on for almost 50 years. Foreigner’s Mick Jones continues:

“We can’t wait to kick off the summer in the UK with a massive tour alongside our friends Whitesnake and Europe. We’re looking forward to playing all our biggest hits for our fans, and rocking across the country”.

The announcement follows the news of David Coverdale’s plans to retire once the band complete their farewell tour, which he shared last month (June 14th.)

The tour will come in the wake of Whitesnake’s upcoming remixed and remastered record, Restless Heart, which fans can now preorder from the band's website.
