Whiskey Myers confirm nine-date May 2017 tour
Following the emphatic success of their intimate December 2016 tour, soulful southern rockers Whiskey Myers have announced a fresh headline tour for next spring.
Supporting their recently released second album ‘Mud’, the East Texan outfit will play nine headline gigs kicking off at Newcastle O2 Academy2 on Wednesday 17th May and wrapping up at London Electric Ballroom on Thursday 25th May.
Lead singer Cody Cannon enthuses: “Visiting the UK has opened a whole new chapter in the story of the band. The audiences are really knowledgeable, they know all of the lyrics and they love to get involved, which suits us just fine.
“We’ve been playing for over two hours every night, and we’ve had a helluva time. And remember, this is just the tip!”
Tickets to the tour go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Friday 9th December.
