They play an extensive run of shows in spring 2022
Last updated 8th Sep 2021
Winners of Best New Band at The Rocks 2021, When Rivers Meet, have announced their second studio album ‘Saving Grace’ and a massive UK tour in April and May 2022.
Released on Friday 19th November 2021 via One Road Records, ‘Saving Grace’ is the follow-up to Grace and Aaron Bond’s critically lauded debut album ‘We Fly Free’ which came out in November 2020.
‘Saving Grace’ features 12 songs and it was recorded at Boathouse Studio in Suffolk with Adam Bowers on production, engineering and mixing duties, and Mike Curtis on mastering.
Grace Bond performed vocals, mandolin and fiddle on the record, with Aaron Bond on vocals and guitar, and producer Adam Bowers playing bass, drums, keys and trumpet.
Grace says of When Rivers Meet’s ‘Saving Grace’: “We were very conscious that our debut album We Fly Free was a step up in production from our two EP releases previously The Uprising EP and Innocence of Youth.
“We also wanted to keep a live, authentic vibe to the new album to retain the energetic feel in the music.”
Aaron adds: “We wanted the album to have more of an upbeat rock feel. We knew exactly what we wanted before we set off to record Saving Grace. We set our expectations high. We’re so pleased with the result and just hope everyone else loves it as much as we do!”
