WEEKDAY SCHEDULE CHANGES

Say hello to Lucio, the newest member of the Planet Rock family, who will present the Breakfast Show from mid-January.

Lucio returns to his rock roots to take over the Planet Rock weekday Breakfast Show in 2011. The 35 year old Sony Gold award winning presenter (XFM, Kerrang, Absolute Radio) is relishing this new challenge of building on the success that Alice Cooper has brought the station.

"This show will be the antithesis to JLS, Simon Cowell and painful mornings. Planet Rock has had an amazing year and is just short of 1 million listeners, a milestone we intend to pass in 2011.  We’ll be playing an amazing range of classic rock songs plus the best new bands.”

Alice Cooper who has been presenting "Breakfast with Alice” for four years will have a well earned lie in before taking over the late shift with ‘Nights With Alice’ every weekday night from 9pm – 1am
