"We Should Have Made Two Albums"

Aerosmith bassist questions latest release.

Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith has questioned whether the band's latest release should have instead been released as two separate albums.

The upcoming "Music From Another Dimension" is a combination of tracks reflecting both the bands early days and the ballads they became known for in the 90s.

When asked by Puregrain Audio whether the band had ever considered doing two separate releases rather than fusing both styles on one album Hamilton replied with "no, but we probably should have."

The bassist added that "it would have been a great business decision to save half the record for later, but it’s been too long since we put out a record. We chose what was on this album based on how good the songs came. We really wanted to get it all out there and not wait, not hold back.”

He also added that this was the first time in a decade in which members of the band were united in their desire to create a new record.

"Music From Another Dimension" is released on November 5.
