Exclusive: Wayward Sons premiere 'Feel Good Hit' video
Watch it on Planet Rock first
Wayward Sons have premiered their music video for ‘Feel Good Hit’ exclusively on Planet Rock.
The latest offshoot from Wayward Sons’ second studio album ‘The Truth Ain’t What It Used To Be’, which was released to rave reviews last autumn, ‘Feel Good Hit’ is an instantly catchy, yet thematically weighty musical gem that centres on the refrain: “If this is the Feel-good hit of the summer, I warn ya, we're fading away...”
Enough to bring a tear to your eye, the ‘Feel Good Hit’ video harks back to those good old days of yesteryear when we could all freely attend music concerts and mingle with fellow rock lovers.
The video was melds footage of Wayward Sons performing on the Planet Rock Main Stage at Ramblin’ Man Fair last summer with clips of their own headline show in a hot and sweaty venue.
We also see Wayward Sons meeting fans in the Planet Rock Signing Tent at Ramblin’ Man and Phil Martini and our very own Toby Jepson sit down for a chat with our very own Wyatt.

Toby Jepson says of the ‘Feel Good Hit’ video: “It’s so great to finally get the video out for our new single ‘feel good hit’ taken from our new album ‘THE TRUTH AINT WHAT IT USED TO BE’
“This lockdown period has obviously been difficult for all bands, specifically the cancellation of shows, festivals and tours has put a strain on the survival of so many of us, and hampered releases and long term plans.
“But we feel strongly that the music will go on as we still have so much to say! So this is our salute to all that are struggling and wondering what is going to happen next.
“We WILL be back stronger than ever, the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll is ALIVE and WELL despite the current situation, in fact, I’d go as far to say ‘struggle is GOOD’ - it provokes change, and stimulates a fresh outlook that can FEED the creation of art, more often than not FOR THE BETTER, so EMBRACE and USE IT!
“Imagine how determined we will be to make this all be worth it!!
“So here’s a slice of energy from us, The Sons, to YOU to help lift your mood and remind you of what it’s all about!
“Keep the faith!”
Toby Jepson is one of a galaxy of rock stars who have performed on a charity cover of John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’, which premiered earlier this week.
