Band lynchpin Mark Tremonti and guitarist Eric Friedman recorded a remarkably faithful cover of the six-minute ‘Master of Puppets’ opus using only a Hello Kitty guitar and ukulele.

You can watch the entire performance, recorded for Loudwire, right here:

Tremonti release their fourth studio album ‘A Dying Machine’ worldwide via Napalm Records this coming Friday (8th June).

The album is once again produced by long-term collaborator Michael ‘Elvis’ Baskette who has helmed Tremonti’s previous three albums - 2012’s ‘All I Was’, 2015’s ‘Cauterize’ and 2016’s ‘Dust’ - together with Alter Bridge’s last four long-players.

‘A Dying Machine’ is an ambitious concept album and the futuristic theme came to Mark while he was on tour with Alter Bridge in Hungary.

The story, which is being turned into a full-length book authored by Mark Tremonti and John Shirley, takes place in a hundred years’ time where humans and fabricated beings called “vessels” are trying to co-exist.

Ahead of supporting Iron Maiden on their Legacy of the Beast Tour in Europe in July, Tremonti are coming to the UK & Ireland for six-date tour.
