WATCH: The Rolling Stones perform ‘Fool to Cry’ for the first time in 19 years
The Rolling Stones treated fans to another rarity at their triumphant London Stadium show last night (22nd May).
Having performed ‘Neighbours’ for the first time in 15 years in Dublin last week, the rock legends gave ‘Black and Blue’ rock ballad ‘Fool to Cry’ its first outing in 19 years at their massive homecoming gig.
Incredibly, their last UK performance of ‘Fool to Cry’ was at Knebworth way back in 1976. You can watch fan-filmed footage of the performance last night here:
With Mick Jagger telling the audience “it’s great to be back in our home town”, The Rolling Stones played a sprawling 19-song set at London Stadium opening with ‘Street Fighting Man’ and ending with traditional set closer ‘(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction’.
Earlier in the night, Liam Gallagher dedicated Oasis’ ‘Live Forever’ to Manchester on the first anniversary of the Manchester Arena terror attack where 22 people lost their lives.
“This is for everyone in Manchester. Sing along if you know the words,” he told the crowd. The Rolling Stones later thanked Liam Gallagher for his performance:

The Rolling Stones continue their UK tour with a second night at London Stadium this coming Friday (25th May) before playing dates in Southampton, Coventry, Manchester, Edinburgh, Cardiff and London’s Twickenham Stadium.
