Performing in front of 82,000 adoring German fans, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts played a total of 22 songs and unveiled a lavish new stage design at the first major live music event at the Stadtpark in almost three decades.

Tracks from their legendary back catalogue that made the setlist included opener ‘Sympathy For The Devil’, ‘It's Only Rock 'n' Roll (But I Like It)’, ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Gimme Shelter’, ‘Start Me Up’, ‘Brown Sugar’, ‘(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction’ and the ultimate ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’.

Elsewhere, The Rolling Stones played the Buddy Johnson cover ‘Just Your Fool’ and Jimmy Reed’s ‘Ride Em on Down’ from last year’s chart-topping album ‘Blue & Lonesome’.

Chosen by the fans, the septuagenarian legends performed ‘Under My Thumb’ for the first time since 2006, while ‘Goats Head Soup’ opener ‘Dancing with Mr. D’ had its first live outing since October 1973 and early classic ‘Play With Fire’ was played for the first time since February 1990.

Following the show, the band released a highlights video that melds tantalising snippets of the live performance together with footage of fans arriving at the Stadtpark and the band’s entrance on stage. Watch it here:
