WATCH: Ozzy Osbourne sings 'Bark at the Moon' during the solar eclipse

A four day festival was created just for this moment.

In a display of truly-inspired festival scheduling, Ozzy Osbourne performed 'Bark at the Moon' during the solar eclipse on Monday afternoon.

The performance was part of Ozzy's headline appearance at Moonstock, a festival in Carterville, Southern Illinois created specifically so that this incredible event could occur. It was scheduled so that Ozzy and his band would begin playing the 1983 classic during the height of the eclipse at 13:20 local time.

"I don't think I've ever been in this part of the world before," Osbourne told the 12,000-strong crowd gathered for the occasion. "I love you all. Thank you for coming to see me."

Ozzy has returned to performing solo after playing his last show with Black Sabbath back in February. A concert film entitled 'The End of The End', featuring the band's final gig in Birmingham, is set to be screened in cinemas on Thursday 28th September. You can watch the trailer below:
