Watch The Dead Daisies recording 'Righteous Days' in the studio with Glenn Hughes
The Dead Daisies have shared a behind-the-scenes video from the recording of current single ‘Righteous Days’ with new frontman Glenn Hughes.
The ever-evolving group’s new song got its global first play on Wyatt’s show on Planet Rock on 28th August – the same day they revealed rock legend Glenn Hughes as their new frontman and bassist, replacing the departing John Corabi and Marco Mendoza.
Founder and rhythm guitarist David Lowy is The Dead Daisies’ sole constant member since their inception in 2012 with Doug Aldrich (lead guitar) and Deen Castronovo (drums) joining in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
The newly-premiered behind-the-scenes clip of The Dead Daisies recording ‘Righteous Days’ at the world-famous Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood, California can be watched right here:
When Glenn Hughes was first unveiled as their new singer, The Dead Daisies released a statement reading: "The Dead Daisies are a musical collective whose members come together through a common love for great rock music.
"It's a living, breathing, musical organism with the credo, 'Rock is indeed alive & well!' From the band's inception, the idea was for members to bring their own ideas to the table but also have the flexibility to come and go when working on their other projects.
Both John and Marco are, and always will be, a part of The Dead Daisies musical family, but at this point in time they have decided to do some work on their own solo projects."

David, Doug, Deen and Glenn return to the studio later this year to complete work on the new Dead Daisies album and they plan to tour in 2020.
Their last UK show took place in December 2018 when they brought Planet Rockstock to an emphatic close.
Glenn Hughes, meanwhile, embarks on his 10-date 'Glenn Hughes Performs Classic Deep Purple Live’ tour this November. Dead Sea Skulls and Piston support at select dates and tickets are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets now.
