Watch Roger Waters perform Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here' outside the Home Office
Roger Waters performed Pink Floyd’s classic track ‘Wish You Were Here’ outside the Home Office in London yesterday (2nd September) at a rally in support of jailed WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Waters addressed the crowd gathered at the Don't Extradite Assange rally outside the British Home Secretary office building before playing ‘Wish You Were Here’ alongside guitarist Andy Fairweather Low.
The rally demanding Assange’s freedom also featured speeches from Australian filmmaker John Pilger and Assange’s younger brother, Gabriel.

Assange was jailed for 50 weeks this year for breaching bail by hiding in the Ecuadorian embassy in a bid to avoid extradition to Sweden to face rape allegations in 2012.
The 48-year-old editor and activist also faces a full US extradition hearing in the UK in February, which is expected to last five days.
Assange is fighting being sent to America to face 18 charges including computer misuse and the unauthorised disclosure of national defence information.
