Since Fleetwood Mac’s show in Des Moines, Iowa last month, former Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers star Mike Campbell has been posting a series of ‘Bathroom Jams’ videos on his personal Instagram account.

As the title suggests, the short clips see Mike play guitar in various toilets (not a synonym for a dilapidated gig venue) around North America to pass the time while he’s on the road.

The first 14 instalments have seen Mike perform solo, however over the weekend he was joined by two special guests in Tacoma, Washington; his Fleetwood Mac band mate Neil Finn and Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder.

With Neil Finn straddling the porcelain toilet bowl and the three of them guffawing as they play guitar, Mike turns to the camera and says “we’re in the bathroom in Tacoma, Washington ahead of the gig tonight with Fleetwood Mac.

“I’m here with my two brothers from another mother Neil and Eddie. We’re happy to see you all, we’ll see you in the next bathroom of the USA.”

Last night’s (Monday 19th November) 16th instalment of the bathroom series saw Mike perform solo once again in Portland, Oregon.

Mike Campbell and Neil Finn were unveiled as Lindsey Buckingham’s replacements in Fleetwood Mac back in April after the guitarist was ousted from the band in acrimonious circumstances.

Fleetwood Mac play two shows at London’s Wembley Stadium next June. The opening date is completely sold out but tickets to the second show are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets now.
