WATCH: David Gilmour plays Pink Floyd classics in ‘Live At Pompeii’ preview
David Gilmour has premiered a three-minute musical preview of his upcoming concert film ‘Live at Pompeii’.
Set for release on various DVD, CD, Blu-ray and digital formats on Friday 29th September, ‘Live at Pompeii’ was filmed at David’s two historic shows in the legendary Roman Amphitheatre on 7th and 8th July 2016.
Performing in front of 2,600 people each night, David’s shows were the first with in front of an audience at the historic location since the gladiators in the first century AD. It also took place 45 years after Pink Floyd’s fabled film in an empty amphitheatre.
The newly premiered concert preview features snippets of David’s solo songs and Pink Floyd classics including ‘Wish You Were Here’ ‘Comfortably Numb’, ‘The Great Gig in the Sky’, and ‘Run Like Hell’.

As well as getting a physical and digital release, ‘Live at Pompeii’ will also hit over 2,000 cinema screens across the globe on Wednesday 13th September.
