WATCH: David Gilmour performs Pink Floyd’s ‘One of These Days’ for first time in 22 years
The Pink Floyd classic ‘One of These Days’ has been added to David Gilmour's solo setlist for the first time ever.
The instrumental opener from Pink Floyd’s 1971 album ‘Meddle’ was debuted by David and his band at the Plac Wolnosci in Wroclaw, Poland earlier this week.
In fact, the last time David performed ‘One of These Days’ in the live arena was on Pink Floyd’s The Division Bell Tour way back in 1994.
Watch professionally shot footage of the performance here:
Since playing ‘One of These Days’ in Poland, David omitted it from the setlist of his first night at Schloss Schönbrunn in Vienna but performed it on the second night of his residency.
David is now poised to play two shows in Rome this weekend before taking to Pompeii’s Roman Amphitheatre 45 years on from Pink Floyd’s historic ‘Live At Pompeii’ performance in front of an empty stadium.
He’s then coming to the UK this autumn for five completely sold out shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
David’s setlist in Wroclaw was as follows:
