Guns N’ Roses were about to launch into their final song ‘Paradise City’ at the BOK Center when Axl Rose told the crowd “Look who just happened to be in the neighbourhood. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Dave Grohl.”

Arriving on stage to a rapturous response from the capacity crowd Dave hugged his Guns N’ Roses friends before playing guitar and singing backing vocals on the ‘Appetite For Destruction’ classic.

Foo Fighters also perform at Oklahoma’s BOK Center tonight (Wednesday 15th November) as part of their ‘Concrete and Gold’ North American tour.

After the show, Guns N’ Roses shared photos of Dave on stage with them and also tweeted: “Thank you Dave Grohl @FooFighters for coming out and rocking Paradise City with us tonight in Tulsa!”

Of course, Dave isn’t the first guest performer since the Not In This Lifetime… Tour kicked off in April 2016.

AC/DC’s Angus Young has guested six times and Steven Adler reunited with his former band mates at five gigs, while Sebastian Bach, Angry Anderson, P!nk and Billy Gibbons have performed at one show apiece.
