WATCH: Chinese teenager wows with incredible acoustic cover of AC/DC’s ‘Thunderstruck’
A 13-year-old lad from China has gone viral with a phenomenal acoustic version of AC/DC’s towering anthem ‘Thunderstruck’.
The schoolboy called Liu Jiazhuo filmed himself reinterpreting AC/DC’s 1990 classic and since being uploaded to YouTube and social media it has racked up hundreds of thousands of views.
Using his nimble fingers to play Angus Young’s signature riffs and his palms to play the Chris Slade’s beats, Liu Jiazhuo’s interpretation was actually inspired by Italian musician Luca Stricagnoli.
His version of ‘Thunderstruck’ is the opening track on his eponymous 2015 acoustic album that also features covers of Guns N’ Roses’ ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ and The White Stripes’ ‘Seven Nation Army’ alongside a variety of pop tracks.
