WATCH: Bruce Springsteen duets with four-year-old girl at Oslo show
In a truly heart-warming moment, Bruce Springsteen pulled a four-year-old girl from the crowd at his Oslo show to duet with her on 'Waitin' on a Sunny Day'.
A regular feature of his sets to invite younger audience members on stage, 23 songs into his typically epic Ullevaal Stadion show The Boss noticed the girl, called Hope, singing along to every word on her parents’ shoulders.
Visibly moved, Bruce reached out his hand and invited Hope - who was sporting a lime green top emblazoned with ‘The River’ album artwork - on stage to sing with him.
As Bruce came to the chorus he pointed the microphone at Hope who sang the lines “waitin' on a sunny day, gonna chase the clouds away, waitin' on a sunny day” perfectly in front of the 28,000 capacity crowd.
Bruce then scooped her up and put her on his shoulders, dancing around the stage waving to the audience. Handing Hope back to her parents he mouthed “wow”, asking how old she is.
The video on Facebook has been viewed over six million times since it was uploaded at the end of June and over 270,000 views on YouTube.
