The titular frontman shared two 15-second Instagram stories on Saturday (9th March) showing keyboardist David Bryan, guitarist Phil X, drummer Tico Torres and bassist Hugh McDonald at a recording studio.

In the second clip, the camera then pans to Jon Bon Jovi who says (with a guitar pick in his mouth): “Day one, song one, new record, see ya!”

The Instagram stories expired after 24 hours, however fan site Bon Jovi Updates managed to record them for posterity:

According to Asbury Park Press, the recording studio where Bon Jovi are holed up is Ocean Way Nashville Recording Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. The studio is a converted former church - hence the stained-glass windows in Jon Bon Jovi’s video.

No further details about the album have been revealed. Bon Jovi’s last studio album ‘This House Is Not for Sale’ was released on 4th November 2016 via Island Records and it was the first album to feature new lead guitarist Phil X following the departure of Richie Sambora in 2013.
