WATCH: Black Stone Cherry premiere 'The Rambler' video starring Billy Ray Cyrus
Ahead of their eagerly-awaited Ramblin’ Man Fair headline slot, Black Stone Cherry have unveiled the video for their powerful song ‘The Rambler’.
Directed by fellow Kentucky native Blake Judd, the video stars Billy Ray Cyrus as a mysterious drifter who moves between bars in a poignant tale of guilt, heartache and longing for redemption.
The Black Stone Cherry boys also feature in the video performing the driving anthem acoustically in a bar.
Black Stone Cherry said: “The Rambler has been an incredibly special song to us from the beginning and we knew the video had to be equally as special, but not overly dramatic. Simple and effective.
“We're honoured to have Billy Ray Cyrus play 'The Rambler', as well as the many amazing actors and team it took to make this story come to life. We hope this special song and video hits a chord with you, like it has for us.”
"If you are ready to hear a great band with an incredible song, hit play,” Cyrus enthused. "I was honoured when they asked me to bring 'The Rambler' to life. Make something real? Hell yea. I'm in!”
‘The Rambler’ is the closing track on Black Stone Cherry’s fifth studio album ‘Kentucky’, which stormed into the UK charts at no.5 back in April.
