WATCH: Black Sabbath share extended trailer for ‘The End of the End’
Heavy metal overlords Black Sabbath have shared an extended trailer for their concert film ‘The End of the End’.
The newly premiered 60-second teaser opens with Geezer Butler saying “I’ve got butterflies in my stomach. I feel like I’m being sentenced to death” before Ozzy adds “there’s just a whirlwind of emotions going on”.
The clip then features tantalising clips of their pyro-tastic swansong show at the 16,000 capacity Birmingham Genting Arena on 4th February 2017.
As well as footage Black Sabbath in their imperious live glory, the film also boasts behind-the-scenes clips and intimate personal anecdotes from the band.
‘The End of the End’ will be shown at cinemas across the globe for one night only on Thursday 28th September, with tickets on sale via this official website.
In other Black Sabbath news, Tony Iommi has once again reiterated his claim that Sabbath may get back together for a one-off show.
Speaking at the launch of the Ten Year War box set in London, Tony said: “I love playing, I’d like to work with the guys again at some point!
“It’s good to have some time to really look at things and what I really wanna do, because for nigh on 50 years I’ve never had time to come down from things, you’re always getting ready for the next tour, the next album or the next interview.”
He continued: “I don’t want to tour the world again. I get pretty tired of doing it now. Being on stage is the ultimate thing but people don’t understand the rest of it.
“They’ll just see you there for a couple of hours and they don’t know it’s taken eight hours to get there, plus interviews and press, and after you’ve got to wind down and get back to the hotel, sometimes not ‘til 4 in the morning. In the days where we used to stay up all night it was brilliant, but not now!”
Tony exclusively broke the news that there could be further Black Sabbath activity in the future in an interview with our very own Wyatt back in February.
