WATCH: Benedict Cumberbatch duets with David Gilmour on 'Comfortably Numb'
David Gilmour was joined by a very special guest at the third show of his London Royal Albert Hall residency last night (28th September).
During the set closer ‘Comfortably Numb’, Sherlock and The Imitation Game actor Benedict Cumberbatch came on stage to a rapturous response from the capacity crowd.
Wearing a long dark coat and looking slightly humbled by the occasion, Benedict sang a few lines from the 1979 classic alongside David.

Benedict’s fellow British thespian Richard E Grant was also in attendance at last night’s show and he shared that rarest of things – a photo of David cracking an enormous grin.
David continues his Royal Albert Hall residency tonight and concludes the stint tomorrow.
