Footage of Jim Steinman’s acclaimed Bat Out Of Hell The Musical has premiered exclusively on Planet Rock this morning.
Available to view here first, the trailer showcases a number of songs performed in the musical including Bat Out Of Hell, I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That), Dead Ringer For Love, Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad, For Crying Out Loud, Dead Ringer For Love and Paradise By The Dashboard Light.
Directed by award-winning theatre and opera director Jay Scheib, the show is the realisation of Jim Steinman’s 40-year dream – of turning the songs he’d always intended for a musical into a stunning stage show.

According to a press release, the musical “is a romantic adventure about rebellious youth and passionate love, set against the backdrop of a post-cataclysmic city adrift from the mainland. Strat, the forever young leader of The Lost, has fallen for Raven, daughter of Falco, the tyrannical, ruler of Obsidian.”
Bat Out Of Hell The Musical made its debut at Manchester Opera House and after currently receiving rapturous response from fans and critics alike, it has extended its run by three weeks.
When it wraps in Manchester at the end of April, the show travels south for an extensive run at London Coliseum where it opens on 5th June.
