WATCH: Audioslave perform their first show in over a decade

Audioslave performed together for the first time in over a decade at the Prophets of Rage hosted Anti-Inaugural Ball on Friday night (20th January).

After leaving the band in February 2007, Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell joined forces with Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk to protest against President Donald Trump’s inauguration at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles.

The band performed three songs together – Cochise’, ‘Like A Stone’ and ‘Show Me How To Live’ – at the show to a rapturous reception from the 600-capacity crowd. You can watch footage of all three below.

Chris later returned to the stage during Prophets of Rage’s fiery set closer ‘Killing In The Name’ to join in the "F*** you, I won't do what you tell me!" refrain.

The night was hosted by comedian Jack Black and outspoken Trump critic Tom Morello used the platform to fire a series of verbal jabs at the President.

"Immigrants and Muslims are welcome here. Racism, homophobia and bullying will not be tolerated," he insisted. 

Making reference to Trump’s notorious comments about women in 2005, Morello told the crowd at one point: "If somebody tries to grab your p* in the pit, it's your patriotic duty to break their fing arm!"
