WATCH: Angus Young performs two AC/DC classics with Guns N’ Roses in Sydney

AC/DC's sole constant member Angus Young joined Guns N’ Roses on stage in Sydney tonight (10th February) - minus his trademark schoolboy attire.

After Duff McKagan revealed that Angus pranked Guns N’ Roses on their arrival at Sydney airport on Wednesday, it was widely predicted that he would join them on stage at the ANZ Stadium.

Proving the rumours were true, 16 songs into the band’s epic 24-song set, Axl Rose told the crowd: “We’re gonna bring out a friend. Ladies and gentlemen, Angus Young!”

Angus then stepped out on stage in a plain white t-shirt and jeans and they launched into AC/DC’s ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’ and ‘Riff Raff’ with Axl quipping: “Here’s something you never see. He didn’t have his school uniform, but I’m wearing a school jacket.”

Angus had previously performed the same two AC/DC tracks with Axl, Slash, Duff and co. at their two headline slots at Coachella Festival in California last April. Axl, of course, performed with AC/DC on the European and North American dates of the Rock or Bust World Tour.
