Watch: Alice Cooper shares 'Detroit City 2020' lyric video
Planet Rock’s very own Alice Cooper has shared the lyric video for the opening track on his new ‘Breadcrumbs’ EP, ‘Detroit City 2020’.
The song is an updated version of Alice’s own 2003 track ‘Detroit City’, which appeared on his sixteenth solo studio album ‘The Eyes of Alice Cooper’.

Released last Friday (13th September), the ‘Breadcrumbs’ EP boasts six brand new recordings and is Alice’s own personal homage to the garage rock heroes from his hometown Detroit.
Featuring cult Detroit musicians, including Johnny “Bee” Badanjek from the Detroit Wheels, Grand Funk’s Mark Farner and MC5’s Wayne Kramer, ‘Breadcrumbs’ was recorded at Rust Belt Studios in Detroit with fabled producer Bob Ezrin at the helm.
The EP includes a new Alice Cooper song called ‘Go Man Go’ alongside versions of Suzi Quatro’s ‘Your Mama Won’t Like Me’, Bob Seger’s ‘East Side Story’, MC5’s ‘Sister Anne’, Shorty Long’s ‘Devil With A Blue Dress On’ and The Dirtbombs’ ‘Chains Of Love’.
‘Breadcrumbs’ is available to buy digitally and as a numbered 10” Vinyl that’s limited to only 20,000 copies globally.
It whets fans’ appetites nicely ahead of the release of Alice’s new studio album in 2020.
