'The Rolling Stones 'Some Girls Live In Texas 1978' is getting its first ever DVD and blu-ray release this autumn.

Shot at the the Will Rogers Memorial Centre in Fort Worth, Texas on the 18th of July 1978, the gig showcases tracks from the Stones 'Some Girls' album which marked a real departure from the traditional Stones sound, while also giving fans their greatest hits including 'Brown Sugar', 'Tumblin' Dice' and 'Honky Tonk Woman'. Originally shot on 16mm film, the footage has been carefully restored and the sound remixed by veteran soundman Bob Clearmountain.

The release is being handled by Eagle Rock Entertainment, the same company behind last year's DVD of 'Ladies and Gentlemen The Rolling Stones', The Exile on Main Street Tour 1972. Details of a UK cinema release are expected soon.

'Some Girls' will be available in four formats; DVD, Blu-Ray, plus two special editions with CD digipack presentations including a reproduction tour programme.  A brand new interview with Mick Jagger will feature on all formats.
