Velvet Revolver Singer Auditions This Week
Slash has revealed that the band will be seeing potential new frontmen in the next few days
Velvet Revolver hope to have a new frontman by the end of the week after they revealed that they will be auditioning new frontmen in the coming days.
A Tweet from Slash revealed that "VR is auditioning singers this week. Promises to be very interesting."
The band have been without a frontman since Scott Weiland left in early 2008 following a falling out with the rest of his bandmates. The band had released two albums over a period of four years.
No word on who the potential singers are, but it’s unlikely that Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy will be amongst them after it was announced that he will be fronting the whole of Slash’s next solo album and will be touring with Slash next summer.
We’ll keep you posted if there are any developments this week.
