Velvet Revolver Found New Singer

But their schedules just wouldn't work

Slash has revealed that the band did finally find a singer that they wanted to work with, but they were never able to get their schedules to fit.

He told the Aquarian "Unfortunately, as for Velvet Revolver, we’ll remain on a hiatus until we find the right singer to replace Scott. Jimmy Gnecco of the band Ours is an amazing singer and we really wanted to work with him. The unfortunate thing was that our schedules conflicted. Whenever we wanted to fly him out to work with us, he was already engaged in something else, but Jimmy was without a doubt the type of singer we were looking for! He was amazing!"

Velvet Revolver have been without a singer since 2008 when Scott Weiland left the band. There have been numerous rumours about replacements ever since, including Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor and current Slash solo band singer Myles Kennedy.
