Van Halen’s David Lee Roth has shared footage of himself crashing a bachelor party – aka a stag do - in Las Vegas recently.

David Lee Roth was staying at a hotel in Sin City earlier this month during dance music festival Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) when his team heard Van Halen’s music emanating from a nearby hotel room.

With cameras following him, a visibly excited Diamond Dave proceeded to knock on the door of the adjacent room where a group of men were imbibing alcoholic beverages.

“We heard some Van Halen here and my name is David Lee Roth! And I’m right across the hallway!,” a beaming Roth tells the somewhat bemused man who opens the door.

“We’re on our way to EDC but the fellas (his camera crew) here were coming on down the hallway and they said ‘s we heard some Van Halen’ and I said ‘no s!!’ We’re your neighbours guys.

“Fellas, enjoy your stay, it’s a small tiny world.”

Without being invited in by the bachelor party, Roth tells his crew “that’s so f***ing funny. Ain’t that something!” before one of the bachelor party group eventually comes out to thank him by the elevator.

Some fans on YouTube have lambasted the footage, with one writing “They had no idea who he was. Probably didn’t even realise Van Halen was on their playlist.”

Another wrote: “They were clueless but in David Lee Roth's mind it was the best moment of their lives.”

Roth attended Electric Daisy Carnival a month after he guested on stage with Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren at Ultra Music Festival in Miami.

The singer was MC duties while Van Buuren played his official trance remix of Van Halen’s 1983 anthem ‘Jump’.
