Reports suggest that the band may have \"moved home\" ahead of album release

A report in The Hollywood Reporter (via Melodic Rock) has quoted a source as saying that after 35 years with Warners, the band have decided to move to Sony's Columbia Records to release their brand new album.

There is continuing conjecture and rumour about the band's new album, and we're still yet to hear anything official, but several "friends" of the band have claimed to have heard the record, so at least it is real.

The album will be the first full album of original material with frontman Dave Lee Roth since 1985.

Melodic Rock also reports that the band are currently scheduling a North American tour for February, with a European leg rumoured for the summer (Melodic Rock suggests that three dates in Germany are close to being booked for the second week in June).

We'll have to wait and see whether any of this becomes reality.
