Gibson name their favourite guitar records
Van Halen and the Allman Brothers Band have topped a couple of polls run by Gibson.com to find the best guitar albums.
Van Halen’s Van Halen (1978) were named top of the Gibson.com writers’ poll, which was selected by the writers and contributors from Gibson Guitar’s website. It narrowly beat competition from Jimi Hendrix’s Are You Experienced?.
Meanwhile in a reader’s poll, The Allman Brothers Band’s At Fillmore East live album beat Derek & The Dominoes to the top spot.
