U2 Drop Glasto Hint

It\'s looking likely that the band will be at Worthy Farm next June

U2 look likely to be named as one of the headliners for Glastonbury 2011 after dropping a big hint on their official website.

A post on U2.com on Friday pushed users towards the Glastonbury website, saying "Tickets for Glastonbury 2011 go on sale this weekend. Will U2 fans finally see 'Glastonbury' at Glasto?"

They then went on to say "Looking at the tour dates - there is a gap in the band's schedule ahead of the East Lansing show on June 26th which would make the Friday night a possibility.”

U2 manager Paul McGuinness would not give anything away, saying "We're certainly excited about our plans for next year. Watch this space!"

Meanwhile, U2 played another new song in Portugal over the weekend.

The song, ‘Boy Falls From The Sky’, is apparently taken from Bono and The Edge’s Spiderman Musical soundtrack and is the sixth new song to be played on tour since Bono recovered from his back injury.
