Tyler Takes Another Tumble

Some friendly jostling sees the Aerosmith frontman fall offstage

Steven Tyler has reportedly taken another tumble offstage – this time aided by guitarist Joe Perry.

Noghtwatchers House Of Rock has picked up a news story from The Globe And Mail which says that a little roughhousing onstage between Tyler and Perry resulted in the frontman falling offstage and into the crowd at a concert at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre.

The story goes that during the band’s performance of ‘Love In An Elevator’ (which, coincidentally contains the line "Good morning Mr Tyler. Going down?” in the recorded intro) Tyler "accidentally” bumped into Perry. Perry then "accidentally” backed into Tyler who teetered on the edge of the stage before falling into the crowd.

Tyler was then helped back to the stage by roadies and Perry and, once composed, he remarked: "It ain’t gonna happen again, baby,” referring to last year’s South Dakota incident (which saw Tyler fall offstage and break his collarbone). "You’ll pay for that, my brother,” he then said, directing his remark to the lightly smirking Perry.
