Two New Releases From Rory
Brand new DVD and CD releases from Rory Gallagher estate
Two brand new released from the late, great Rory Gallagher are due out in two weeks.
First up GHOST BLUES is a 2DVD set that includes a comprehensive and fully authorized documentary about Rory, from his upbringing in Cork, his early days with a showband, the brief success of Taste and then his legendary solo career leading up to his health problems in later life and tragic death at the age of just 47. There are archive interviews, both audio and visual, with Rory and contributions from many of his friends and admirers including his brother Donal, Bob Geldof, The Edge, Cameron Crowe, Slash, Johnny Marr, James Dean Bradfield, Ronnie Drew, Bill Wyman, Martin Carthy, band members Ted McKenna and Gerry McAvoy and many more.
The DVD also includes THE BEAT CLUB SESSIONS, which features 90 minutes of unreleased live performances from Rory’s three appearances on the legendary German TV show, Beat Club.
The other release from Rory is the CD version of The Beat Club Sessions – featuring live highlights from the Beat Club TV show
Both the DVD and the CD are released on 13 September.
