Tommy Aldridge To Re-Join Whitesnake
Drummer back in the ranks.
"When I asked all the band members to put together their wish-list of potential drummers for us, everyone, without exception, had Tommy Aldridge at the top of the list” says founder David Coverdale. "Also, most of the fans who communicated their suggestions on Whitesnake.com wanted Tommy back in the band. So, without further ado, we are delighted to welcome him back with us. It seems it is our destiny to work together... Welcome back, Tommy Aldridge!!!"
Aldridge has previously worked with the group from 1987-1991, and again from 2002-2007.
"I can't express how honored and grateful I am to be back in the Snake fold,” stated the drummer. "Working with David Coverdale & Co. has always been a labor of love. SO stoked to be back and finish what we started!!"
Whitesnake released a joint statement thanking the many talented musicians who has applied for the post of drummer in the band, praising the high standard of their collective talent and wishing them "the very best in their lives and careers."
Aldridge replaces Brian Tichy, who left Whitesnake to pursue the S.U.N. (Something Unto Nothing) project he began with Sass Jordan.
