Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers To Release New Album

"Hypnotic Eye" is expected this Summer.

Four years since the release of their last album 'Mojo', Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers have revealed that they will release a new album entitled "Hyptnotic Eye" this year.

A tour is also being planned but there is currently no word as to whether it will reach UK shores.

Petty also commented that the band are far from finished, saying that: "This band just grows and grows, and that's an incredible gift, I can't see us calling it off."

The 11-track LP, co-produced by Petty, Mike Campbell and Ryan Ulyate, is expected to be released this Summer.
