No stranger to our airwaves having covered Danny Bowes’ show a number of times, Toby Jepson’s permanent new show airs from 5pm to 7pm every Sunday starting on 1st March 2020.

The two-hour show will boast an eclectic selection of rock music from all genres and decades, along with Toby's own song choices, stories from the road, anecdotes, guests, and much more.

Toby comments: "I'm so pleased to be asked to join the ranks of Planet Rock! I hope to entertain and inform a little, playing some great tunes, telling a few a stories, but above all sharing in the love of the music with you all."

Planet Rock's music and content director, Ric Blaxill, adds: "I’m delighted that Toby is joining Planet Rock. His contribution to rock music over the decades as a first class performer, writer and producer underline his love of rock music. And now his stories, anecdotes and passion for rock n' roll can be shared every week with Planet Rock listeners!"

As well as covering the occasional show on Planet Rock, Toby has previously guested on My Planet Rocks twice - on his own in 2017 and with Wayward Sons last year.

In tenuously related Wayward Sons news, the band are nominated in four categories at The Rocks 2020 – Best British Album (‘The Truth Ain’t What It Used To Be’), Best British Band, Best British Single (‘Joke’s On You’) and Best Live Band.

You can see all the nominees and vote for your favourites right here. Voting closes at 1pm on Wednesday 19th February.

Hear Toby Jepson on Planet Rock from Sunday 1st March 2020 onwards from 5pm to 7pm. Everyone at Planet Rock is delighted to welcome Toby to our family!
