Planet Rock’s very own Si King and Dave Myers’ show at the London Palladium is part of their sprawling An Evening With The Hairy Bikers tour, which takes in almost 40 dates across the length and breadth of the UK between mid-February and April.

Si and Dave personally asked their good friends Thunder – featuring, of course, fellow Planet Rock DJ extraordinaire Danny Bowes – to perform at the 2,286 capacity Palladium, and the London rockers duly obliged.

Danny Bowes enthuses: “Thunder share a very similar sense of humour with Dave & Si, and we all get on very well. We’ve been on motorcycle rides together, and spent the whole time laughing, so it will be a pleasure to be a part of their nutty show.

“To be doing it at The Palladium is like a big fat cherry on top for us. The Hairy Bikers & Thunder together, what could go wrong? Seriously, we can’t wait!”

Billed as ‘an epic night of cooking and conversation’, tickets to the An Evening With The Hairy Bikers tour are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets now.

Meanwhile, Thunder’s UK tour in support of their recently released album ‘Please Remain Seated’ continues at the Gateshead Sage tonight (Wednesday 6th February).

Thunder’s remaining tour dates are as follows:

Gateshead Sage – Wed 6th
Glasgow Royal Concert Hall – Fri 8th
Leicester De Montfort Hall – Sat 9th
Bath Forum – Mon 11th
