Thunder announce second Christmas show at Wolverhampton Civic Hall
Due to phenomenal demand, the mighty Thunder have announced a second show at Wolverhampton Civic Hall this Christmas.
All 3,000 tickets for the band’s first Yuletide extravaganza at the venue sold out in just 36 hours earlier this month leaving many of their faithful fans disappointed.
To cope with the insatiable demand, Thunder will now play a second and final night at the Civic Hall on Saturday 16th December.
Ticket to the show go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 9am on Wednesday 19th April.
Singer and Planet Rock DJ extraordinaire Danny Bowes said: “We're delighted that the first show sold out so quickly, the demand was unbelievable. We heard from many fans who weren’t able to secure tickets for what will surely be the Xmas party of the year and so, in true Santa style, we’ve given them the extra show they wanted.
“There really won’t be any more shows announced so, if you’re thinking of stocking (ho ho ho) up on tickets then there’s no time like the… present! Sorry. Anyway, these shows are going to offer some serious festive fun, so get cracking and we’ll see you there!”
Just like the Friday night show and their previous festive bashes, there will be no support act and Thunder will perform two sets; a sit down acoustic performance followed by a rip-roaring full electric set.
