Thunder announce huge show at Caerphilly Castle
The mighty Thunder have confirmed a massive summer show.
The band, who headlined Planet Rockstock last December, take to Caerphilly Castle in South Wales on Saturday 14th July with Hand of Dimes and Cats In Space in support.
Tickets to this very special show go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Wednesday 28th March.
Thunder said: “Lower the drawbridge because this summer we’ll be storming Caerphilly Castle with Hand of Dimes and Cats in Space! Tickets go on sale this Wednesday for what should be a pretty spectacular show.”
The Caerphilly Castle announcement comes after Thunder released their live album and concert film ‘Stage’ last Friday (23rd March).
Captured at Cardiff Motorpoint Arena in March 2017, ‘Stage’ boasts fan-favourite classics like ‘Backstreet Symphony’, ‘Low Life In High Places’ and ‘Love Walked In’ together with newer songs like ‘Rip It Up’ and ‘She Likes The Cocaine’.
Singer and Planet Rock DJ extraordinaire Danny Bowes says: “Capturing (the show) turned out to be one of our better decisions, because the resulting film and album are a shining example of an organic “coming together” of fans and a band.
“We’ve released a few live recordings over the years, but this is most definitely up there with the best of them. We're extremely pleased with it.”
