Derby rockers These Wicked Rivers have lined up a headline UK tour for May 2024 in association with Planet Rock.
Fresh from triumphing on their December UK trek, These Wicked Rivers will play eight headline shows that bookend their previously confirmed slot at Call of the Wild Festival.
Following the Friday 1st March release of These Wicked Rivers’ new album ‘Force of Nature’, the Peace Love and Lampshades UK tour opens at Bridgwater Cobblestones on Friday 17th May, and visits Stoke, Manchester, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Leicester, Edinburgh and Leeds.

Enthusing about These Wicked Rivers’ Peace Love and Lampshades UK tour, guitarist Arran Day says: “The 'Force of Nature’ tour was such a massive success for us in terms of getting out and playing for new faces in new places, so we really wanted to hit the road as soon as possible and do it all over again.
“Fresh from the release of our second album 'Force of Nature' we'll be bringing our signature stage show up and down the country, decorating each room as if it were 1974 and your nan's just put the kettle on.
“In times of greed, turmoil and darkness let yourselves escape by joining us for a celebration of peace, love and of course... lampshades.”
Coinciding with the tour announce, These Wicked Rivers have also premiered their new single ‘The Riverboat Man’ and its accompanying music video.
The song is described by the band as ‘a barnstorming tale which celebrates the underdog spirit, and champions those who dare to be different.’
Singer and guitarist John Hartwell elucidates further: “On the surface it’s a story but, as always, it goes much deeper than that. Rich in metaphor, it explores the darkness and light within us all. It's a blast to play live and it’s been great to see such positive audience reactions to it at our recent shows.”
