Listen to Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend speaking about the tour here.
Planet Rock was at Ronnie Scott’s in London yesterday to watch The Who play a tiny acoustic gig, heralding the announcement of their 50th anniversary UK tour.
The band, who have sold 100 million albums, will play 9 arena dates, kicking off in Glasgow on the 30th of November.
Frontman Roger Daltrey said this tour is the start of the band’s long goodbye, but he’s keen to keep playing live while he can, as well as recording new music with the band this Summer.
