The Who Add Extra Show

All for charity...

Published 11th Mar 2013

The Who have added a new date to their "Quadrophenia and more" UK tour. July 8 will see the band hitting the stage of London's Wembley Arena.

Proceeds will go to their Double O Charity; founded in 1976, to focus on drug and alcohol damage, domestic violence, sexual abuse, music education, emergency relief for International disasters and young people’s prison reform. So far the organisation has raised over £4 million.

This new concert version of Quadrophenia, personally directed by Roger Daltrey, focuses on the original album and replaces the narrative used in previous stage versions with powerful imagery projected on an array of massive screens, designed to support, complement and propel the musical content of the work by setting it in the context of the history of the band.

Tickets for the new date will go on sale from 13 March.
